  1. From the top right hand corner of the Outlook homepage hit File.




  2. Click Account settings and then click the Account settings drop-down box

3. Click New from the Account settings page

6. Enter your (1)Name, (2)Email address, Select (3)IMAP as the account type, and enter(4)Incoming + (5)Outgoing mail server hostnames See www.jims.net/emails.html for settings for your Division.

Enter your Jim’s email address as the (6)Username and the Email Account (7)Password (Please contact InfoTech if you are unsure of your password or you need it to be reset).

Then click (8)More Settings.

8. Enter 993 as the (1)incoming (IMAP) server port and select (2)SSL as the type of encrypted connection.

Enter 465 as the (3)Outgoing (SMTP) server port and select (4)SSL as the type of encrypted connection

Click (5)OK once completed.

9. A test will run once to confirm the settings are correct, click Close once completed

10. Click Finish to complete the account set. You should now be receiving and sending email.
