You should regularly backup your Jim's Jobs Classic Database to an external, removable store and keep this in a separate location to your PC.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Jim’s Jobs.

  2. Click on Functions > Backups > Create custom backups.

  3. Choose the location that you want to store your backup. We recommend saving to an external hard drive, a USB key, or even into Cloud Storage such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or Apple iCloud.

  4. Click Create custom backup now...

  5. Click Yes when prompted to confirm.

  6. Click Ok

  7. Click Cancel on Custom Backup windows to close.

  8. You have now created a backup of your database.
