Jim's Group Hosting Costs Explained

Email Hosting

Thanks for sending the mailbox numbers through.

Once again, all FSEs and FSOs must be aware they will be billed for each mailbox they have.

Covered in this quote is:

  • Email migration software licensing
  • Labour cost for migration
  • Microsoft Tenancy registration
  • Microsoft Tenancy configuration
  • Dedicated team member/s or Day 1
  • A dedicated phone number for Day 1
Post-migration, Email fees from FSE's would then be going to Jim's National Office instead of to the Div FSO.
There is an existing email fee for any FSE who started after 1-May-2016. This does not cover the M365 mailbox costs nor includes FSOs.
The new M365 monthly email fee would apply to ALL of your division's FSEs and FSOs. This charge is also per mailbox.
As of Feb 2024, the $11 Inc GST p/mailbox, p/m, it is higher than the current Jim's Group Email fee so that would need to be agreed to by you and all of your FSEs, and not just those that pay the current email fee (FSEs who started after 1-May-2016).

Website Hosting

Jim's InfoTech can host & maintain your division's website for you.
This means you'll always be using the correct template and forms, which generate the most traffic and conversions of leads for your division.
    • Costs:
      • Jim's National Office offers a standard package for hosting a division's website.
      • The standard hosting package will be around $50p/m + GST. Subject to CPI and any additional increases in costs by the provider.
  • Cost variances:
    • TASKS EXCEPT SERVER SUPPORT ISSUES
    • In addition to website hosting costs, support required by our Web Developers for a self-managed website will be estimated and a quote provided for your approval before we proceed.
    • These are billed at $180 +gst p/h.

Web Design

Jim's Group has developed a standard website template that we recommend you implement for either your new division or existing division. It has been created with mobile and customer experience first in mind. It also is part of our strategy to unify the Jim's Group divisional brands online presence. Jim's Group is implementing the template to all the division's we own. To share the online look of the group we recommend you join us. The template will constantly change over time as a reflection of consumer and industry trends.

Web Forms

Regards using forms that send emails to you on your site, we have 3 types of forms that should be used on a divisions sites regardless if NAtional Office host the site or not.

Customer Booking / Request a Quote forms - The Jim's Customer Booking experience

Jim's Group uses a customer booking site that your new divisional website will use. It will have added functions and features added progressively to increase online bookings and experience. It also includes heaps of tracking options which your web/SEO guy will be able to utilise.

If your division doesn't use the Jim's customer booking form, we highly recommend you implement this as it converts higher than the existing form.

There is no need to create a separate enquiry form. If you use an external web developer, please engage your divisional manager at the National office to discuss first.

Franchisee Enquiry form.

This should also be using another Jim's Group-provided web form (https://fe.jims.net/).
Again, ask your web guy to email us and we'll work with him on implementing it as we need to enable a function at our end for it to work.

This should be emailed to you (as the Div FSO) directly.

Costs

  • Full website build - $3000 plus GST
  • Jim's website theme (template only) - $750 plus GST
  • Layout and design changes - $185 per hour plus GST
  • Website/domain hosting - $50 plus GST per month.

Emails

Please note
Existing website rebuilds would not require changes to the domain's email configuration or email hosting.
We don't also give full admin access to the website for multiple reasons. Some being security and brand consistency. If you want to know more about this please discuss it with your divisional contact.

How to start and what's required?

New Division

Discuss with your Business Development Manager first and they will provide you with the relevant information and help guide you.

Existing Division

Discuss with your Divisional Manager first and they will provide you with the relevant information and help guide you.

Full Website

Website Content

If none or little content is provided a very basic site can still be created so as to not delay a divisions launch. However, this is not ideal at all. You as the divisional know your service the best out of anyone. Content should be a combination of words, video, and images. Have a go at creating your own content and we can help implement it into your site. You can always have the content adjusted at any time. However, the more the better and create content that will actually be useful to a visitor to your site.

We recommend you provide:

  • Homepage to have 350 words.
  • 250 words per sub-page
  • Video content
  • Each service to have a minimum of 3 - 5 images
  • The number of your division in FMS (for the customer booking form)
  • Any existing cPanel hosting user/pass
  • Any existing domain details so it can be migrated.
  • Email address (required)

Layout and Design Changes

Please discuss with your national contact first. They will then seek a quote on your behalf with our IT team. Once you receive your quote, if you accept, you can just tell your national contact that you wish to proceed and the work will be started.
