Release 4.72.0 (scheduled on 22/03/2023)

New Features:

1. Area Management: Copy Area Function

   Provides the ability to copy Geo spaces, Suburbs, Post Codes and States between FSE’s and FSO’s. This was a feature in FMS4 but due to IE4 no longer working in FMS4 (Microsoft turned this off) and thus redirects to FMS5.

2. Area Management: Retrieve Suburb boundaries function on Area’s KML Editor popup

Allows user to define a suburb or post code as a geo space (instead of just a suburb name or post code) as has been the case in the past. This is a new feature that did not exist before.

• Click on Add Geo space

• Or Select existing Geo space

3. Area Management: Add Areas Footprint to FSE / FSO details page

 Displays a footprint of changes to an Area type. This was an existing feature in FMS4 and the same functionality is replicated in FMS5

 Select Edit/View Area Type > Click on Footprint

4. Area Management: View Areas button for Call centre and Franchisors

New feature in the FMS5 Areas to allow users with the appropriate permission to view a FSEs Territory Area Type definition. The user will be unable to add/edit or delete Geo paces, Suburbs, post codes and states.
The main purpose is to allow authorised users to view a FSE’s territory definition so they can screen dump and provide FSEs with a copy of their definitions.

This is implemented as follows:

5. Area Management: Allow user to search for Address in the KML editor

This was a feature overlooked in the new FMS5 Area Management. In FMS4 there was a feature for the user to find an address in a FSE’s geo spaces for the FSE (it is equivalent to going to Google Maps and entering an address except a pin will appear of the KML Editor) .  

This is useful in determining whether a lead address is located in a FSE's Area geo space and in resolving lead allocation queries and issues.

From the Geo spaces click on Find Address > Enter the address in the dialog and click Search

Note that because a State must be selected the Find Address will always return a result.

So, if for example, you enter: 1 Test St, XXXXXX Park, Australia QLD a pin will generally appear in the centre of the State QLD as an approximate address. It’s up to the user to enter an appropriate address.

 Also, Google will return approximate locations for addresses which it only partially matches.

6. Area Management: KML Editor Help screen > Click on the Help icon

7. Area Management: Deletion of multiple markers in the KML Editor

1. Shift + Left Click on the start marker.

2. Shift + Left Click on the end marker.

The markers deleted between the start and end markers will display as yellow markers. (Individual markers can be deleted by left Double clicking on the markers as is currently the case)

Press the Backspace key to toggle the direction of delete.

Press Esc key to cancel the delete

Press Delete key to delete the yellow markers. A Delete confirmation message box will be shown.

8. Area Management: Update "Map Editor" link on FORM DOC 008 to point to new maps editor

Previously when defining Territory Areas in the legal documents, in terms of its geo spaces, post codes, and suburbs the user was directed to separate update screens for each Territory geo spaces, post codes, suburbs, etc (the old geo space was limited). This feature directs the user to the new Area Management screens allowing the user to manage Territory geo spaces, suburbs, post codes, and suburbs for the Territory in a single screen. Once defined the user is returned to the legal document at the point the button was clicked and retains any changes/updates made to the legal document.

Click on Manage Territory Details > Select Prospective FSE > Select Instruction for Document Preparation

 Please note that Area Management features complete the migration of Area Management from FMS4 to FMS5.

9. FSE Fee Unpaid - Search function 2.0 - Search by Name

 New feature to allow Finance to filter Fees Unpaid based on Name

10. FSE Fee Unpaid - Add column and filter for Billing Plan information

Update to the latest ABN website endpoint

 This feature is to fix up the Legal Document screens in FMS5 which were inconsistent. Mainly for Documents Department. Essentially it does 2 things with respect to ABN and ACN numbers.

1. Validates the ABN against the ABN endpoint

2. Checks if the ACN is valid in the ASIC register

For example, if a Legal document is selected is follow:

If the ABN Number is valid (based on querying the ABN endpoint) it will show the following (to the right of the ABN number):

If there is some error in the ABN Number, it may show for example (below the ABN Number)

Similarly, for ACN Numbers (note these must be valid ASIC numbers)

Errors will show:

12. Business Logic when FSE work code is set to "P" - No longer part of the release. No change in the existing behavior.

This feature enables the franchisees to be able to receive previous clients regardless of the areas when the franchisee is set to work code P.
If your Franchisee is set to work code P (Previous Clients Only), your franchisees will get previous client leads only in the areas where you provide the service.

For example, if your franchisee offers service A in Zone 1 and you are set to P; when your previous client requests service from within Zone 1, they will get the previous client lead,
however if the client requests a service outside of Zone 1, the lead will be passed onto the next Franchisee who can service the client.

13. BACK END: Create API to return FSE message setting details

The MCCC Operators will get to know how many characters they can type in the message notes in the lead entry screen based on the selected FSE, so that FSE can receive the whole message.

Fixed an error where:

14. DIV FSOs with FSEs is NOT included RFSO Billing

 Bug fix in which DIV FSOs with FSEs was not being included in the Billing Run. Also, it includes DFO’s without FSEs as they have other fees applied against them.

15. FSE Fee data is incorrect

Bug fix sorts the issue in FMS returning incorrect data for Technology and Jimbo App fees

16. FMS4: FSE mobile is showing as null even home or work phones are populated

Bug fix sorts the issue when the mobile is null, it should display either the work or home phone.

17. Jims Online: Forgot Password-> Received URL is not clickable

Bug fix where in certain browsers and email clients the link was not navigable.

18. Jims Online: Geo spaces not being displayed correctly

Bug Fix to ensure that a FSE’s geo spaces are displayed correctly in Jims Online.  Related to new Areas Management.

19. FMS: DOC 008: Regional Disclosure Document incorrectly includes the Monthly Conference Contribution Fee for Cleaning Division

'Marketing or other Cooperative funds' sections of the document ‘Regional Disclosure Document’ now only shows if their division is applicable and have a valid fund.

The corresponding table on DOC 008 is displayed only if the Franchisee’s division has a fund for it or the table should not be displayed in the document.

For instance, for a Cleaning Franchisee, Monthly Conference Contribution Fee table does not show since there is no fund for Conferences for Cleaning Division.

20. FMS5: Append post codes to suburb name in 'Manage Suburbs' window + Display all suburbs that match search criteria

Appended post codes with the suburb names when clicked on Manage Suburbs button and ‘Area Suburbs’ pops up for any Area Type + Display all suburbs in FMS4 database that match the search criteria

21. FMS5: Add "FSO Growth" Report for National

When logged in as a National resource on FMS5, the report “FSO Growth” is also accessible through the Reports tab.

22. Same lead got charged twice for the same contractor

Fixed the issue where some contractors having duplicated charges for the same lead on their transaction history page.

23. Logo in franchise enquiry notes causing issues

Fixed the Jim’s logo being displayed in notes on franchise enquiries. This was:

·         causing (we think) a Stack Overflow error that prevents access to the enquiry

·         taking up space unnecessarily in the database

·         displaying as a mass of unintelligible hex numbers possibly limiting user’s access to other notes

24. FMS4 - Fix Pro-active call Reminders Report

Divisional Franchisors reported that more Regional Franchisors are failing to meet proactive calls requirements due to a the Reminders report being “inaccurate” as the compliance is dependent on the entry of the notes rather than the flagging of when the call was made. Where Reminders report was showing FSE and days since the last Proactive Call Notes was made, it now has reminders report showing FSO’s record of Proactive calls instead.

25. FMS5 - Area Editor - add option to show/hide surrounding FSE territories

On the Area Editor screen, it is currently loading all other FSE’s territory by default. The other FSE territories in the same region now show only if the user opts to do so through a checkbox to show/hide other Franchisee’s territory in the same region.
