Technology Fee

• Franchisees whose agreements were prepared prior to 13th Jan 2013 may opt in/out of paying/using Franchisee software (such as Formitize).
• Franchisees whose agreements were prepared after 13th Jan 2013 will pay the Jimbo app fee IF their division is approved to be using Franchisee software (such as Formitize), but it is their choice if they use Franchisee software.
• Franchisees whose agreements were prepared after Jan 1, 2015 will pay a Technology fee regardless of their division.
• Franchisees who started before 13th Jan 2013 and renew their contract are NOT required to pay a Technology fee or Franchisee software such as Formitize, fee.
• Working Franchisors are required to pay to use Franchisee software such as Formitize.
• Franchisees who started before 1st Nov 2019 may have the Technology Fee waived if they have tried Jim's Jobs Web for 3 months and are paying for Formitze directly.
• Franchisees who started after 1st Nov 2019 are required to pay the Technology Fee. They will have access to Jim's Jobs, though if they choose to use another product, that is at their expense.

There was also a separate "Email Fee" introduced for new FSEs 1st May 2016 to separate it from the Technology fee.

  • Divisions that started (or were re-launched) after mid-2023 will be set up in M365 for email
  • Franchisees who started after XX XXX 202X are required to pay a M365 Fee per mailbox if their division uses M365
    • Only email is covered. Additional M365 applications are the responsibility of the Div FSO.
