The last patched 'full installer" for Jim's Jobs Classic was version 2.6.
For more information about Jim's Jobs Classic, please contact infotech.
If you need assistance migrating to the current version of Jim's jobs, please send your Jim's Jobs classic database to InfoTech asking for it to be migrated to the current Jim's Jobs.
Installation:
Always make a backup of your current database/s before upgrading.
This version can be installed on a new PC and/or over the top of previous Jim's Jobs installations.

System Requirments:
Jim's Jobs is only compatible with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Any computer from the last 20 years should have the hardware required to run Jim's Jobs Classic as the base system requirements have not changed.
In 2002, the following was recommended as a minimum for running Jims Jobs:
Windows 98 or above
133 MHz Pentium
64 MB RAM
50 - 80 MB free on your hard disk
CD-ROM or Internet connection
VGA or higher – 800 by 600 resolution is strongly recommended!
Printer if invoices are required
An internet connection is not required but is strongly recommended. That way you can receive updates of the
program via email, and also get technical support via email as well.

- We now refer to Jim’s Jobs as “Jim’s Jobs Classic”
- The ability to send an email via your local email client installed on your PC such as Microsoft Outlook OR send email using "Jim's Email Server".
- The ability to BCC another address (such as yourself if sending via FMS4 and you want a copy in your email client)
- Adobe Reader PDF creation issue resolved.
- ABN field restriction removed.
- Ability to exclude GST.
