Part-Time Franchise Agreement

Franchisors are now able to offer part-time franchise agreements to prospective franchisees who cannot commit to full-time availability due to having other employment or family commitments.

Part-time status includes:

• Half size territory
• No PfWG
• Bottom status
• 50% base fee & compliance discount
• $20 advertising fee
• 50% admin fee for the FSO

The part-time status can be reversed to a standard franchise via the franchisee providing 30 days' notice or if the franchisor determines they no longer meet the part-time requirements (such as ceasing their other employment). When this occurs the base fee, compliance discount, advertising fee, and admin fee revert to the standard rate, and they are changed from bottom status to standard status.

There is no change to their territory.
