Insurance

All Contractors with Jim’s Plus are independent and responsible for maintaining their own insurance policies.  Jim’s Plus does not maintain insurance in respect to its Contractors.

The Contractor MUST obtain and maintain at their expense:

  • extended third party insurance in respect to any motor vehicle used by the Contractor;
  • professional Indemnity if the nature of the work conducted by the Contractor is such that professional indemnity insurance is required;
  • any other insurance that may be required by law in the State or Territory in which the Contractor is operating.

If the Contractor does not have full, adequate and up to date insurance, then Jim’s Plus reserves the right to suspend or delete the contractor's account.

The Contractor must provide a copy of its certificate of currency if requested by the customer.
