How do i request a franchise agreement renewal?
Refer to the below guide on the information that you need to provide to documents when you want to offer a renewal of your franchisees contract.
To request a franchisee renewal suite of documents from the Document Preparation Team you need to email documents@jims.net with the below information:
- A copy of the current franchise agreement (we can work without it if you cannot provide it);
- The franchisees current entity details which they trade under;
- Territory details (either provide & confirm their current territory details and map or if changing provide them with the new territory details and map is applicable); and
- The fee structure for the renewal.
There are 3 different fee structures which you can choose from:
- All new fee rates as per the current schedule (these would be the same as any new incoming franchisee);
- All new fee rates as per the current schedule but leave the base fee and compliance discount as the franchisees current rate; or
- All new fee rates as per the current schedule but the base fee and compliance discount can be reduced by the same percentage (if the percentage reduction is greater than 15% they must obtain Divisional Franchisor approval.
Please note if you choose option 2 and the franchisee does not have a compliance discount this will be incorporated in the agreement by adding the current compliance discount rate to the base fee.
Therefor if the franchisee remains compliant there base fee will not change.
