Jims Jobs - Billing Commercial Clients (e.g. Real Estate Agents) and their Properties

The way to set up a billing client, like a Real Estate Agent and their various properties in Jim's Jobs is to create the Real Estate Agent as a Client (or edit the existing one) to have the status of Billing Address. Then having a client record for each property and set its Billing Details to bill the Real Estate Agent.

Set up Real Estate Agents and their Clients

Create or modify the Real Estate Agent Client

  1. Clients→Add Client or edit an existing one.

  2. Edit Status→ Billing Address.

  3. Edit Client→ Enter the details of the Real State Agent.

A toast message will pop up if you have synced Jim’s Job with Xero.

 

Now that you have created the Real Estate Agent, confirm their Billing Details.

  1. Click on the Details tab.

  2. Select “Name of the Real Estate Agent” in the “Bill to” field from the Drop-down menu.

  3. By default, it will come up with the Real State Agent Billing address in the “Invoice to” field.

  4. Save.

 

Now create or review the Client that you want to be invoiced to the Real Estate Agent.

  1. For each Client that is a site for that Real Estate Agent click on Edit Client.

  2. Their status should be Active.

  3. Enter or confirm the Clients name.

  4. Save.

Now set this Client to Bill an existing Address from Real Estate Agent

  1. Click Details

  2. Select “Bill to” the Real Estate Company Name from the drop-down box.

  3. By default, it will come up the Billing address of the Real State Company in the “Invoice to” field.

  4. Save.


How to invoice clients to a Real Estate Agent

Now you have Real State Agents as Billing addresses and Clients details to invoice the Billing Address, invoicing the Real Estate agents become much simpler.

  1. Click on Clients.

  2. Select “Billing address” from the drop-down box of the Clients status.

  3. Go to the Invoices tab.

  4. Click on the “+” icon to add up an invoice.

  5. Attach the job by ticking on the box.

  6. Click on the “attached ticked jobs to the invoice” button.

 

 

Now you can send the invoices to the Real Estate Agent

  1. View your Real Estate Client.

  2. Click on the Attached Clients tab.

  3. You should see all of your attached Real Estate Agent's Clients listed below.


Now let's add the Invoices to send

  1. Click on the Invoices tab

  2. Click on +ADD and a Pop up window will appear.

 

3. In the Popup window, scroll down to the bottom.

4. Click +ATTACH A JOB

5. Check the DateRange settings if the jobs are not showing.

6. Tick the checkbox next to the job/s you want to invoice.

7. Click ATTACH TICKETED JOBS

8. You should return to the previous popup and see the jobs in LIST OF ATTACHED JOBS

 

9. If everything looks Ok, click SAVE

10. Now you can EMAIL INVOICE, SMS INVOICE , OR PREVIEW AND SEND.
