How do I terminate a franchisee?

How do I terminate a franchisee?

If a breach period has expired and not been complied with, you may wish to terminate the franchisees agreement. This can be achieved by issuing a termination notice to the franchisee.

Process

In the instance that a franchisee does not rectify the breach that has been sent in the allocated time, then they will be terminated. If the Franchisor has sent the original breach, then only the Franchisor can terminate. You can find the termination letter and notice template below, attach the original breach and send it to the Franchisee, then email the complete termination documentation to compliance@jims.net and we will upload the documentation to FMS and enter the end date. In the instance that National Office sent the original breach after being requested by an FSO the termination will be processed and forwarded to the Franchisee.
