What are the franchisee meetings requirement?

Franchisors must offer at least eight meetings a year within 50 km of each Franchisee’s home. Alternatively, where a Franchisee is more than 100 km from the Franchisor’s place of business and there are six or less Franchisees in a population centre, up to six meetings may be held by Skype.

Each meeting must include a time for general discussion and at least seven meetings per year must have a training component.

Franchisors must provide at least seven days’ notice to Franchisees, including an agenda, and keep notes of the meeting.
