What are the requirements regarding insurance for franchisees?
Answer
As per the franchise agreement, the majority of the franchisees are required to obtain and maintain $10 million public liability cover insurance via Jim's Insurance.
They can use the online quote/buy system to do so via https://www.jimsinsurance.net.au/get-a-quote/franchisee-online-application/
The online system will allow them to see full pricing in real time and purchase the cover instantly. They will then receive a certificate via email instantly which they can provide to you.
Please note that cover cannot be purchased over the phone as Jim's Insurance is an insurance brokerage
Some divisions are exempt from having to use Jim's insurance or have other compulsory insurance requirements.
